DFI’s Solution for Laser Engraving Machine — EC800-CD

Taipei, Taiwan — December 17, 2014 — A laser engraving machine is composed of three main parts: a laser, a controller, and a surface. DFI’s embedded system, EC800-CD, plays a main role as controller which controls the direction, intensity, speed of movement, and spread of the laser beam to engrave the materials aimed at the surface. EC800-CD is DFI’s first palm-sized fanless embedded system supporting a range of Intel Atom processors, from the Intel Atom N2800/N2600 processor for low power solution applications to the Intel Atom D2550 processor for applications that require maximum performance.
