DFI® introduces a series of IP65 rated Panel PCs - the TPC series. Available in 3 LCD sizes (12.1", 15", 17"), all models support the 2nd Gen Intel® Core™ processor family paired with the Intel® H61 Express chipset. From the dual-core i3 processor to the quad-core i7 processor, the Panel PC is cross compatible with the new 3rd Gen Intel® Core™ processors. And with the 3rd Gen processors built on 22-nanometer process technology, it makes the Panel PC's powerful and energy-efficient design suitable for industrial control automation.
The LCD panel based on a 5-wire resistive touch screen has 250 nits brightness and can support 1,024 x 768 for the 12.1" and 15" panels, and up to 1,280 x 1,024 for the 17" panel. Additional displays outputs, HDMI and DVI, at the bottom of the system provide dual independent display support up to 1,920 x 1,200 @ 60Hz resolution.
The 12.1" panel supports one 2.5" SATA drive bay while the 15" and 17" Panel PCs come with two bays for installing SATA 2.0 drives. The TPC seriesalso provides 2 LAN ports for increased transmission speed, 2 COM ports, 6 USB 2.0, and built-in antenna for optional Wi-Fi.
It offers additional expansion capability via 1 PCIe x1, 1 PCI, and 2 Mini PCIe slots. Equipped with two 3W speakers, the system provides amplified audio output. Users can benefit from the 2 mounting options: wall mount (VESA 75 x 75 and 100 x 100) and panel mount.
With the IP65-certified front panel protection, the panel is protected from ingress of dust and water. This allows easy cleansing of the panel especially in industries that place top priority on preventing system contamination. This feature makes the Panel PC ideal for applications such as factory automation, industrial automation, ATM, and automobile automation.
