It is DFI’s first ATX board that supports the workstation Intel® C226 express chipset for high computing applications. This ATX model comes with LGA 1150 socket for the Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v3 series built on 22-nanometer process technology. These processors offer higher computing performance, they are more cost-effective, and they provide more energy-efficient power consumption.
The integrated Intel® HD Graphics engine supports 20 Graphics Execution Units (EUs), and Intel® Clear Video Technology that supports advanced imaging capabilities for high definition video. DL631-C226 is equipped with 1 HDMI and 1 DVI-I display ports enabling one system to deliver multiple displays without the need for a discrete graphics card. For faster communication, this C226-based ATX motherboard is designed with 4 DDR3/DDR3L DIMM sockets supporting up to 32GB. The workstation platform also offers ECC memory support for reliable 24/7 system operation.
Not only does DL631-C226 run faster, it also offers higher performance with improved I/O. This new ATX board features 2 Intel® Gigabit LAN ports, 6 COM ports, 10 USB ports, 6 SATA with RAID 0/1/5/10, 1 LPC connector for additional COM/Parallel ports, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. Thanks to the Gigabit LAN port with Intel® Active Management Technology (iAMT) 9.0, this model offers a cost saving solution through better manageability and improved security. The expansion design of this latest workstation platform provides additional capabilities via multiple PCIe configurations, including 2 PCIe x16 slots (1 x16 or 2 x8 signal), 2 PCIe x4 slots (1 x4 and 1 x1 signal), and 3 PCI slots.
