The IP65 rated Panel PC adopts the Intel® Atom™ N2800/N2600 processor with speed up to 1.86 GHz. Based on the low-power x86 architecture, this 7" fanless panel pc can be extensively used in a variety of industries, such as self-service kiosks in shopping center, 24-hour operating ATMs on the streets, and HMI solutions in factories.
The KS230-CD is available in 4-wire resistive and projected capacitive 7" LCD touch screen panel that has 400 nits brightness and can support WVGA resolution of 800x480. With IP65-certified front panel protection, the panel is protected from ingress of dust and water. This allows easy cleansing of the panel especially in industries that place hygiene a top priority and makes the Panel PC ideal for applications such as the chemical industry, food and beverage industry, marine, and medical applications.
The 7" fanless panel PC is equipped with one 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM socket, one 2.5" SATA drive bay, one CompactFlash socket, one Mini PCIe slot, six COM ports, two USB ports, two LAN ports, and one VGA display port. Users can benefit from the 2 mounting options: wall mount (VESA 75x75) and panel mount. Moreover, the 7" panel PC can withstand operating temperature from -20°C to 50°C that can be applied to outdoor environments.
For the purpose of providing outstanding configuration flexibility, DFI® developed another open frame Panel PC, KS232-CD, allowing easy integration into a customized enclosure. Customers can design the front bezel according to their particular applications without limitation.
