The new microATX embedded board with LGA 1150 socket is powered by the 4th generation Intel Core processor family delivering a 5~15% CPU performance increase over previous generations. The enhancements in CPU performance, media and graphics capabilities, security and power efficiency make this embedded board well suited for a variety of market segments, such as medical, retail, kiosk and industrial manufacturing.
The onboard graphics features Intel HD Graphics engine with Graphics APIs, which includes DirectX 11.1 for handling tasks related to multimedia and OpenGL 4.0 for achieving hardware-accelerated rendering. In addition, the Intel Clear Video Technology enables enhanced high-quality and high-definition playback for both Blu-ray and streaming web content; delivering incredible visual experiences. This desktop-based motherboard is also equipped with 2 display outputs: 1 VGA and 1 VGA/DVI-I (DVI-D signal) which supports up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz resolution.
This Intel H81-based embedded motherboard offers flexible I/O, including 2 Intel Gigabit LAN controllers, 10 COM ports, 11 USB ports, 4 SATA ports, 1 parallel connector, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. It is also packed with Realtek ALC888 5.1-channel High Definition Audio. This new desktop platform comes with multiple expansion configurations, including 1 PCIe x16 slot, 2 PCIe x1 slots, and 1 PCI slot, for additional expansion capabilities. With more PCIe and PCI configurations, customers can expand functionalities by installing graphics cards and other components into a system flexibly.
