DFI today launches the industrial grade EC200 series system with passive cooling and anti-shock drive bay mounting designed for factory floor environments. The unique modular-concept construction supports 12 system configurations using three riser cards and three I/O module options in a cable-free assembly. Virtually unlimited systems configurations are possible using low-cost OEM I/O modules designed to meet custom OEM specification requirements.
All configurations feature fanless cooling with a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Atom D525 processor and Intel ICH8M I/O controller hub requiring only 15.4 Watts maximum power. The integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics accelerator with DX9.0C and OpenGL 1.4 compliance supports VGA displays up to 2,048 x 1,536 @ 60 Hz. Systems can be configured with up to 4GB DDR3 800MHz memory, 8 USB 2.0 ports, 10 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 16 GPIO, and 2 PCIe/PCI expansion slots. A separate mini PCIe x1 slot supports wire-less connectivity using an optional Wi-Fi card and two front mounted antennas.
