It covers from industrial motherboard, system-on-module, fanless embedded system, to IP65 rated panel PC for fulfilling high level of wide-temperature, wide voltage, anti-shock / vibration, dust-proof, and waterproof requirements in versatile ruggedized applications.

Wide Temperature : -40°C to 85°C Durability

Passing Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), DFI’s industrial motherboards, SBC, and system-on-modules is equipped with outstanding thermal solution and fanless design. It is guaranteed a -40°C to 85°C extended temperature durability that will operate consistently under extreme temperature and outdoor environments in different industries such as industrial automation and power plant.

Wide Voltage Reliability: 9 to 36V DC Input

In order to avoid the situation of sudden power failure or short circuit in some critical applications such as industrial automation, HMI, marine, and defense industries, the reliable voltage of embedded system is necessary. DFI’s products provide 9 to 36V DC input that will protect equipment from over-current and over-voltage conditions.

IP65 Rating: Dust / Water Protection

In some environments where erosive substances like water and dust will reduce the lifespan of equipment; thus, DFI is offering a series of panel PC rated IP65 enclosure with complete protection. Defending the system from particles and liquid in factory automation or outdoor uses like renewable energy infrastructure or marine industries.

Vibration / Shock Resistance

To ensure the equipment is reliable in all environments and have 24/7 operation, DFI’s integrated systems and panel PCs have passed the anti-vibration / shock IEC60068 validation. In-vehicle systems have passed MIL-STD-810G Transportation Vibration Test for verifying stability and durability from frequent vibration / shock. These products can be used in challenging environments like transportation, logistics, aviation, and marine sectors.

Parylene / Conformal Coating

Parylene / Conformal coating is a design of protecting equipment against abrasion, corrosion, electrical short circuits, and increase high durability and MTBF. DFI provides custom conformal coating services integrated in complete product line, making them able to be used in harsh industries including marine, defense, and in-vehicle computing applications.
